To make its programme more accessible and inclusive, the Capc offers a range of free activities for social and medico-social organisations and people with disabilities. The team accompanies groups as they explore the museum and its exhibitions. Artistic and cultural education courses are also offered to beneficiaries.
The Capc education team offers guided tours of exhibitions, the Entrepôt Lainé and in situ works throughout the year. These friendly, participatory tours are tailored to the needs of each group and are designed to encourage encounters with contemporary art.
By appointment, the groups can also discover the museum and its exhibitions on their own. The group will be under the responsability of the accompanying persons.
The various floors of the museum are independently accessible by lift to the second floor or back to the ground floor.
To access the 1st floor - the mezzanine floors and the library - please call +33 6 31 00 32 53 and a member of staff will meet you.
Discover the gestures of artists and the materials of contemporary art with art professionals.
Visits combined with art practice or tactile tours are available for a fun way to discover the exhibitions.
Organised by the Capc's team of mediators and reserved for professionals in the social and accessibility fields, these meetings between professionals provide an in-depth look at the exhibitions to make them more accessible. They also provide an opportunity to discuss the joint development of artistic and cultural education programmes.

People in vulnerable situations are at the heart of a range of projects that are co-constructed in a spirit of solidarity with local partners. Developed on a pathway basis (before, during and after), these projects emphasise direct contact with works of art, encounters with artists and professionals and artistic practice in order to encourage everyone to take part in artistic and cultural life.
Here you will find five audio recordings (only in French) based on five works from the exhibition Amour Systémique (Systemic Love), on show at the Capc from 7 April 2023 to 5 January 2025. Commentaries written and read by five members of a group of senior citizens who took part in an art therapy project.
This project was organised at the Capc by the Centre Médiation, as part of the EAC (Artistic and Cultural Education) programmes, with the support of the Maison des Arts et Art-thérapeute d'Aquitaine (MAATA).
This project was awarded the Bordeaux terre de solidarités 2024 prize.
